RawMaxx Manufacturing Process

Drafting

When it comes to the process of building trailers at RawMaxx, it all starts with drafting and 3D modeling. The team begins by drawing a prototype of the trailer, ensuring that every detail has the necessary structural integrity to support the trailer’s weight and withstand the stresses it will encounter on the road.

Using 3D modeling software, the team is able to create a virtual representation of the trailer, allowing them to test and refine the design before any physical work begins. This helps to identify and correct any potential issues before they become costly problems later in the process.

Overall, the drafting and 3D modeling stage is critical in ensuring that the final product meets the high standards of quality and durability that RawMaxx is known for.

Drafting

Prep

Next we go to the The RawMaxx prep department that plays a critical role in the trailer-building process, and precision is key. That’s why everything in the department is cut using state-of-the-art CNC laser, press break, and CNC lathe machines.

These cutting-edge machines ensure that every component is made with absolute precision, from the hinges and pins to the latches and bushings, including our famous slam latches. This attention to detail and accuracy ensures that every component fits together perfectly, resulting in a finished trailer that meets the high standards of quality that RawMaxx is known for.

With the use of advanced technology and skilled technicians, the prep department is able to consistently produce components that are of the highest quality and durability. Whether it’s cutting metal to size or shaping it into the required form, every step is carried out with a commitment to precision and excellence.

Overall, the RawMaxx prep department is an integral part of the trailer-building process, and their commitment to precision and accuracy ensures that every trailer that leaves the factory is of the highest quality.

Welding

The RawMaxx welding department is where the trailer puzzle pieces are seamlessly fused together to form a durable and reliable product. Precision and accuracy are key elements of the department’s work, and every effort is made to ensure that each trailer is built to the highest standards of quality.

To achieve this level of precision, every part is meticulously drafted and prepped using computer numerical control (CNC) technology. This ensures that every piece fits together perfectly like a puzzle, with tabs and slots that eliminate the need for measuring tapes and guesswork.

The skilled welders at RawMaxx use state-of-the-art equipment and advanced techniques to create clean and strong welds, with no gaps or inconsistencies that could compromise the trailer’s structural integrity. They employ a range of welding methods, including spot welding and MIG welding, to handle even the most complex or challenging welding jobs.

Overall, the welding department’s commitment to precision and excellence is evident in every trailer that leaves the factory, thanks to the use of CNC and laser cutting technology, and the skills of the welders who take pride in their work.

Quality Control

The next step is Quality Control. The QC inspection department at RawMaxx is responsible for ensuring that every trailer that leaves the factory meets our high standards of quality and safety. This is a critical step in the trailer-building process, as it ensures that everything up to this point has been done properly and accurately.
